Today we brought meals, blankets, cards, deoderant, to the homless. it was inspiring when one women started crying of joy becauses of the card i gave her. It had a drawing i made. she was so happy! We also went to a homless shelter.It was great going to a shelter where I saw people recovering from the problems that caused them to become homeless. some people seemed like they had had there self esteem boosted. it was amazing how most people were so much like normal people but had just had hard times with illness , drugs, budget ect. It was not just an ordinary homeless shelter. It was a special time with a hospital, dentist, school, and more built in. It was called st. Vincent Da Pauls (part of father joes).

That story about the homeless lady is moving.... could you give more detail perhaps about how old she was? Where she was? Or just some parts of her story in general?
